Dr. Grace Boctor began her career with a passion for anatomy and human movement science, earning a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan. She then moved to Chicago to pursue her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Northwestern University where she fell in love with the city and decided to make it her home. With over 5 years of experience primarily in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, Grace is skilled in treating a wide range of conditions including sports and recreational injuries, pre- and post-operative care, TMD/TMJ pain, dizziness and headaches, chronic pain, and gait and balance issues to reduce risk of falling. She is also certified in dry needling and utilizes personalized manual techniques to address pain and mobility issues.
Grace approaches physical therapy care with a holistic mindset, recognizing that a person is more than just their injury or diagnosis. She combines ongoing assessments of stress management, sleep hygiene, and mental health awareness with function-based progression and evidence-based therapeutic techniques to optimize mobility, strength, and overall well-being. Her newfound passion is to help her patients improve their quality of life and return to the activities they love and need to do at home, work, recreationally, and with their loved ones. Outside of work, Grace lives in Chicago with her husband and their cat, Cuddles. She loves pets and would be happy to meet yours! Grace enjoys spending her free time with friends and family including at trivia nights and book clubs. She also loves baking, hiking, exploring Chicago, traveling to new places, and visiting her out-of-state family.
Catherine Hancock, MPT received her Bachelor’s in Health Science and Masters degree in
Physical Therapy from the University of Louisville. She has many years of experience with
outpatient orthopedics treating musculoskeletal impairments and sports medicine patients. She
enjoys working with a variety of clientele using manual therapy techniques including mobilization
and manipulations, soft tissue mobilization with Graston, and dry needling. Catherine is passionate about treating and preventing injury, improving one’s functional mobility and strength, and working with the patient to achieve their goals.
Catherine is also a Herman and Wallace trained pelvic floor therapist working with both men and women experiencing pelvic floor or pre/post natal issues.
She lives in Chicago with her husband and two kids. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, traveling, hanging out with her family, Chicago summer’s and watching sports.
