MIAMI - FT LAUDERDALE FL.

Dr. Phuong-Thao (Alex) Nguyen, PT, DPT earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of San Francisco and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Miami. Alex has experience working with orthopedic injuries, sports rehabilitation, and post operative patients. She has worked with both amateur and professional athletes, from dancers to basketball players. She believes that connecting with her patients and maintaining a holistic approach will improve treatment success in both preventative and rehabilitative settings. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and sat on the Student Assembly Board of Directors from 2019-2020.

In her free time, Alex enjoys traveling, working out, watching basketball, and riding motorcycles. She is originally from California (San Diego and San Francisco) but has been living in Miami since 2018. She was a Junior Olympic gymnast and became interested in the PT profession as a physical therapy patient herself.
